"As you can imagine in the XXXX Crime Labs we take a lot of photos, we have spent hundred of thousands of dollars on development of negatives throughout the last year alone. We have recently switched to digital and needed to change the way we developed out prints. We have looked for a photo printer that would be fast, cheap and professional. "Thanks for writing. Yes, I was contacted a few weeks ago by staff at the XXXXXX Correctional Facility regarding our purchase of the Hi-Touch 640DL printer. It seems the printer they were using was inadequate for this purpose. They asked me how I liked the 640DL and whether or not I would recommend it. I told them I was very pleased with both the quality and cost of the printer itself, as well as the speed and quality of its prints.
The primary use of these printers within the XXXX Department of Corrections facilities is for printing photographs of inmates incarcerated within the facilities so that they can send photographs to their families and loved ones. Prior to our purchase of the 640DL we were contracting out to have these photos taken at a cost of close to $2.00 per photo. Obviously we have been able to reduce these costs dramatically with the acquisition of the 640DL.
Additionally, the ability to add festive and holiday-specific borders to the images is extremely popular among the inmates and they are constantly asking for updates to the templates that are available. [Hint, hint...]
